Collating/curating prints together for my 'process book' with original prints, photographs and cyanotypes - ring bound. Using Tomato's Bareback book for reference whilst scanning in images and deciding on layouts/collating images.

Possible covers

[working title] 'Blue Comfort'

I decided to choose the 'Rasmus' typeface by New Letters as it conveys the concept well but its'n too decorative as I thought the other may be.

Using textures/image on the cover will give an idea of what's inside. Or a plain blue cover gives a more modest and 'designed' feel to the front and back covers.

WIP Final Book

Sample spreads from final designed book to be printed and stitch bound. This will be the curated/edited and cleaner version of the 'process book'. This will hopefully allow me to show skills in the process/making side of the project but also more professional design skills in book designing/making and binding.

Quotes from research embedded throughout the underpin the concept and the research behind my choices of the use of the colour blue.
