Continuing from shooting Elliot's ceramic works, I also wanted to create an editorial story shoot more around this idea of surrounding our rubbishy rentals with beautiful objects. I wanted to include the tell-tale signs of our London rentals, fire extinguishers, horrible safety signage and the typical door locks of HMOs. I shot on film and digital, but I think the film photos capture more of a relevant atmosphere to my magazine.
